Students use online resources and primary source documents to develop a multimedia presentation on the Industrial Revolution complete with video, still images, and sound.
This would be "Transforming Uses" because the students are using technology skills to create a multimedia prersentation, creating their own learning experience.
I agree with Arlene that this is transforming. I think the multimedia character of the presentation as well as the variety of sources that students are asked to analyze push this from adaptation to transformation.
i think it is moving from adapting to transforming, I agrre with Ricia that to be truely transforming it must have some high level skills like analyzing.
Jen- I agree with Chris that is it moving from adapting to transforming. Just creating a presentation with technology does not mean that it is transforming.
Having been in the regular classroom for 22 years, I appreciate the complexities of teaching today. For the last three years I have been a Certified eMINTS Trainer/Mentor and my job is to coach teachers in using inquiry-based teaching in a technology-rich environment. Working with 19 different school districts is a challenging job, but one I look forward to every day.

I also agree with Arlene and Ricia for the same reasons
