I would say that this is a transforming task. I think that the computer allows students to manipulate geometric figures that they could not do without technology. It also appears to be more open-ended because students choose which parameters they want to change.
I agree with Ricia...a tranforming task incorporates the other two levels...the student uses already learned skills and learns new skills by open-ended format.
Having been in the regular classroom for 22 years, I appreciate the complexities of teaching today. For the last three years I have been a Certified eMINTS Trainer/Mentor and my job is to coach teachers in using inquiry-based teaching in a technology-rich environment. Working with 19 different school districts is a challenging job, but one I look forward to every day.

Definately transforming. open ended and and technology based.
Jen - I agree, it is transforming. Students could not due this manipulation otherwise (without great difficulty).
